Here at Sunny Cutting Boards, we stand behind our products 100%. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason, simply return it within 30 days for a full refund. It's that simple. This pledge applies to any product purchased on our website.
You might find a better price (although we doubt it), but we're virtually certain you won't find a better Returns Policy. For example, we don't deduct our shipping costs from your refund. Most do. And also, we don't charge a restocking fee. Most do.
We guarantee that the product you purchased will arrive as described on our website. If it arrives damaged, contact us immediately, and we will promptly send a replacement, at no cost to you.
If we have made a mistake, we will pay freight both ways. (Please realize that due to the variances in computer monitors and brightness and contrast settings, the wood tone of the product you ordered might vary somewhat from the image on your computer screen. And, wood being wood, there are always some gradations in tone.)
If your order arrives in a condition that appears it was damaged in transit, most often it will simply be some minor damage to the packaging. Accept delivery. Don't worry — if there is any damage to the product itself, we will get a replacement out to you immediately. Just contact us right away about what happened, and we'll take care of it from there.
We realize that sometimes a customer wants to return an order even though there is nothing wrong with it. (For example, perhaps you changed your mind, or you decided that the model you ordered wasn't the right size for your kitchen.) In such situations, our goal is to make an exchange or refund as fair and easy as possible.
Please contact us first before returning your order. We can't accept a returned order if you don't first contact us and get a Return Authorization Number. When we issue you a Return Authorization Number, we always email it to you, along with instructions about how and where to return your order. This is your proof and ours that we will accept the return of the product. Returned orders must arrive no later than 10 days after your receive your Return Authorization Number.
For a refund to be issued, the product must be returned in its original, saleable condition, repackaged carefully and correctly in its original packaging, and shipped insured via UPS Ground or FedEx Ground. We do ask the customer to pay the return shipping costs in this situation. We believe this is fair because we already have paid to ship it to you.
You must then email us your tracking number as soon as you return your order. Upon receiving your tracking number, we will send you an email, confirming that we have received your tracking number. If you don't receive the confirmation email, contact us again. It is most important that you send us the tracking number because it is your proof and ours that you returned your order.
We will then issue you a full refund soon after your order is returned and inspected.
To request cancellation of your order, please immediately contact us. We will then make every attempt to cancel your order before it is shipped. However, we cannot cancel an order once it has been shipped, or is on the loading dock ready to be shipped. In this situation, contact us, and we will tell you how to proceed.
Just as with cancelling your order, please immediately contact us if you wish to make an exchange. If your request is made before your order has shipped, the exchange can be easily made. If your order has already shipped, then follow the guidelines above about how to return your order.
If your order is undeliverable because you gave us an incomplete or incorrect address, and your order is then returned to us, you will need to decide whether we should ship it to you again. If you decide yes, you will be responsible for the cost of shipping the first attempt. If you decide you don't want us to reship your order, we will refund your money less the cost of shipping the order.
To assure that this situation doesn't arise, we ask that you review your email invoice to be certain that the shipping address is correct. This is especially true if you place your order with us on the phone because in this situation it is still the customer's responsibility to review the email invoice for errors.
Also, please use the tracking number we email you to monitor the progress of your order's shipment. In that way, you can see if the shipper is having any trouble delivering your order, and, if so, you can contact them before they return the product.
As a convenience to our customers who aren't at home during the day, we don't require a signature upon delivery. However, if you feel there is any risk to your order if it is delivered when you are not home, then please tell us to send it with "signature required". This is important to you because once your order is successfully delivered by FedEx or UPS to the address you specified, it becomes your property, and we are no longer responsible for its whereabouts.
If you mistakenly order the wrong product, and you want to return it, just follow the instructions above about how to return your order.
