Our Cutting Boards
All the cutting boards we offer are made in the USA, and they all are made of non-endangered hardwoods - for example, maple, walnut, and yellow birch (and some exotic hardwoods like zebrawood and purpleheart). Our boards are made by Catskill Craftsmen of Stamford, New York; J.K. Adams of Dorset, Vermont; and by the Vermont Butcher Block & Board Company of Williston, Vermont.
Keep Your Cutting Board Well Oiled
The worst thing you can do to your board is let it dry out. Make sure you keep it well oiled! We sell three kinds of oil. All are FDA-approved food safe:
- The type that Catskill Craftsmen uses - a linseed based oil
