David Glickman of Vermont Butcher Block said of this board, "As a child, our family had what I think was a walnut bread board. My family cut the best loaves of bread on it. I have some very fond memories of coming home from the bakery and cutting a fresh raisin pumpernickel, an onion bread, baguettes, Challahs, and of course the ever famous seeded rye on it. I'll have to ask my parents if they still have it and post a picture. Anyway, that's the inspiration for this product, and I know our creations will last just as long if not longer!
